What did your donation funds accomplish this year?

We received $2,500.00 in donations in 2022, which established our operating budget for 2023.

  • Dunlop Dirt Park

    • $ for new tarps.

    • Industry swag bags as ‘Thank you’ for the local trail builders hard work. We are passing these out in December, mums the word!

  • Support local BMX entrepreneur through T-shirt purchase.

  • Establish positive relationships with local community outreach groups.

  • Supply BMX tubes for riders with flat tires.

    • Example: Rider gets a flat mid session at the skatepark, we provide a free tube and the tools to help them finish their session.

  • Purchase BMX local stickers for give away at Jams +.

  • Purchase BMX local Donation forms through local print shop.

  • Support local BMX and lifestyle brand Blaize Culture through T-shirt and merch purchases. Also custom BMX local sweatshirt sample!

  • Support local injured BMXer Landon Gideon.

    • Blaize Culture T-shirt donation  drive.

    • Go Fund Me fund raiser.

  • Support injured BMXer Jim Murray. Via Go Fund Me.

  • Support legendary BMX trails spot in Pennsylvania through T-shirt purchase.

  • Support BMX non-profit in Nebraska (bathroom fundraiser :) ) through T-shirt purchase.

  • Sponsor prize giveaways at local Jams.

  • Supply tires and tubes for local community outreach - City Church McKinney.

  • Serve local BMXer in need of wheel repair. Provide loaner wheel while repairing damaged wheel, no charge for either.

  • Support international NGO Share a Bike Share a Smile through financial donation.

    • Personal connection through IG and phone conversation.  Building positive relationship and plan additional support and collaboration.

  • Purchase 6 quality used BMX bikes. KINK (2), FIT (2), Volume, We The People.

    • Cleaned and tuned them up. Gave away bikes through local community outreach groups to riders in need.

  • Serve local youth with bicycle maintenance. Include them in the process of adjusting brakes and tire pressure. Bike ride after the work was done!

  • Purchase wheel building tools and supplies.

  • Connect with McKinney Mayor’s office. Establish positive relationship and provide details on our vision for serving local youth.

  • Connect with McKinney Police Department. Ride bikes with PD bike unit in local McKinney neighborhoods, establish positive relationships.

  • Connect with Richardson Bike Mart owner Woody Smith, establish positive relationship and work together on ideas to support the BMX community.

  • BMX Wheel Building Workshop, October. Partnered with Richardson Bike Mart and built skills with fellow BMXers.

What is your budget for 2024?

All donations we receive before January 1, 2024 will be our operating budget for 2024.
